While developing the idea for this project, and savoring the enjoyable qualities of the word 'fat' -- feels good in the mouth, if you lose the shame; it's sassy & defiant & admiring when said with joy & awareness; is another word reclaimed from hatefulness & ignorance -- we began to think of other words that are related to our thoughts on being fat, which also begin with the letter 'f'. Reading these words to ourselves, and out loud, and to each other, we felt our heads fill with fabulous fantasies and flights of fancy as we wrested fables of freedom from our fears & feelings of failure.
